COVID-19 Information

This is a difficult time for everyone. Please know that I am here for you and want to support your mental health and well-being. The following information outlines my policies and procedures in response to Washington State’s phased approach towards the COVID-19 pandemic.

My goal is to encourage best practices in accordance with Washington State ethics and law. My policies are based on Washington state law, as well as Department of Health (DOH) guidelines, OSHA guidelines, and CDC guidelines.

1) All practitioners will continue to see patients via teletherapy, unless in person sessions are absolutely clinically necessary and until additional guidelines are released.

2) Patients being seen in person will wait in their cars outside our offices, and providers will contact them when it is time for them to enter the office for their appointments. The waiting areas in our offices will be temporarily closed.

3) Both providers and patients need to be wearing masks. Unfortunately I am not able to provide a mask for you, so please bring and wear your own if you will see a provider in person in one of our offices.

4) I vigilantly follow guidelines and regulations including frequent hand-washing and wiping down common surfaces, such as door handles, tables, etc., between appointments.

If you are seeking in-person therapy, you must be able to answer a set of COVID screening questions, agree to a contactless thermometer reading, and sign a standard COVID informed consent form.

If you have been in contact with someone who either has a pending or a positive COVID test result, please use the Telehealth option until a 2 week quarantine has been completed and you can produce a negative test result.
